What’s the best way to celebrate your 30th Birthday?

The choice was either to keep complaining that I’m old or to do something good for other people. So being a good Rover, I choose the latter and came up with the event; Quiz Jam for Star Jam.

For a $5 donation, Quiz Jam for Star Jam gave you 10 ingredients or quiz categories that varied from guessing the flags to the near impossible task of guessing who am I?.

Despite a low turnout, Quiz Jam for Star Jam raised $100 towards my Auckland Half Marathon fundraising for Star Jam.

Over the past two years or so ( disclaimer: time may be off), the Upper North Region of Rovering was blessed by the presence of awesome Rover by the name of Gustavo, whom hailed from the country of Brazil.

Saddened by the depature of Gustavo, Shawn and Stephen from Bays trotted off to Right Royal’s den in Epsom to include in a good night of food and games with one particular memorable card game where you had to stop warewolves attacking your village by nominating members of the party whom may or not have been warewolves.

In all, it was an awesome ending to an awesome journey with a cool bunch of Rovers.
